Mission Statement
Community solutions are the collective voice of marginalised people who live in the UK.
The mission is to work with African and Caribbean communities, one of the protected characteristics under the Equality Law 2010.
Our new generation alliance partnership and collaboration forum aims to implement new solutions created and led by new generations to positively change decades of African and Caribbean heritage still facing direct or indirect discrimination practices of public and community charity sectors – service providers.
Our national Young People Alliance forum implements and commissions collective research in the UK. Over 90% of the African and Caribbean communities have experienced racism or know someone who has faced racism across all generations.
Community solutions review the impact and effectiveness of laws, acts, policies, and strategies followed by public, private, and community service providers delivering action plans.
We creatively measure the impact of equality locally, regional and national diversity and inclusion action plans. We present new generation alliance events using arts culture and heritage as a vehicle to enable the true voice of all – with a majority focus on African and Caribbean young people.
Community solution based events and consultations enable the people to lead and create their own local and national strategy of monitoring and evaluating effective change, therefore implementing solutions to regulate measurable positive outcomes and changes created by new generations.
Community solutions also construct and deliver skills training and development in collaboration with all sectors and cultures working with children, young people and families and adult services providers that contributes to building good community wellbeing, empowerment and new generation leadership to resolve decades of long standing inequality issues across all sectors.
